DealGrid ("we") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect personal information you provide when using DealGrid, and your rights. We process personal data only where we have a legal basis or your consent.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: email, password (stored encrypted), display name, avatar, and other details you provide when registering or updating your profile. Usage and device: login and activity logs, IP, browser and device type for security and product improvement. Your content: site config, products, short links, generated copy and images for providing and backing up the service. Payment: handled by Paddle; we only receive and store subscription-related data (e.g. order ID, status, period), not full payment card details.

3. Purposes of Use

We use the above to: provide, maintain and improve DealGrid; process subscription and billing; authenticate and secure accounts; support and resolve disputes; comply with legal obligations; and (with consent or where lawful) analyze and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Legal Basis (EU Users)

If you are in the EU or UK, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of contract (account and subscription); legitimate interests (security, improvement, compliance); legal obligation; and where applicable your consent (e.g. non-essential cookies, marketing). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

5. Data Sharing and Transfer

We may share necessary data with: infrastructure and hosting (e.g. Supabase for database and auth); payment processing (Paddle); email and notification services; and bodies required by law. We require partners to process data in line with this policy and applicable law. Data may be processed in different countries; we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) for transfers.

6. Retention

We retain your data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy: during your account and for a reasonable period after deletion (backup and compliance); longer where required by law. After that we securely delete or anonymize data.
